This has been a very fascinating book. Its second chapter covers the very odd case of the murder of David "Stringbean" Akeman of HEE HAW fame, and his wife in 1973. There were surprised in their home by 2 burglars looking for cash supposedly hidden in the home. Stringbean did not use banks but kept thousands of dolllars in cash in his bib overalls he had on, which they didnt bother to check.
