Justify is 2/3 of the way to the Triple Crown and the first since American Pharoah in 2015.
He had to battle fog and rain as well as fighting off Good Magic who pressed him the whole way and fending off hard charging Bravazo and Tenfold, who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
He now moves to the 150th running of the "Test of Champions", the Belmont Stakes.

Frank Sinatra dies at the age of 82.
The legend that was Frank Sinatra spanned 6 decades of music, movies, radio and television. After a short retirement in the 1970s he made a huge comback starting at Madison Square Garden. Myself I appreciated his work but was not a big fan but until the last few years after really enjoying some of his stuff on some OTR show. He guest segments with Bing Crosby and Jack Benny really show his coolness and how comfortable he was in any role. To me his music is soothing and relaxing and great to unwind with before going to bed.

"Justify", the horse looking to end "The Curse of Apollo" for horses that did not race as a 2 year old but ran in the Kentucky Derby as a 3 year old, and he did just that. Ending the 136 year old "curse" that Apollo put in place after winning the 1882 Derby.
Justify would be the best of the best on a very muddy Churchill Downs track winning in 2:04, the slowest Derby since 2010 and the 6th straight favorite to win the race.
