What used to be a fantastic year end issue and always led to the Barbara Walters year end special on ABC TV is now a huge over produced slick magazine that no one seems to care about now.  Well they don't seem to care about magazines period but this is one of the victims.  I always would get this from my library asap but lately its too expensive to buy and not that interesting to get anyway.

Frank Sinatra dies at the age of 82.

The legend that was Frank Sinatra spanned 6 decades of music, movies, radio and television.  After a short retirement in the 1970s he made a huge comback starting at Madison Square Garden.  Myself I appreciated his work but was not a big fan but until the last few years after really enjoying some of his stuff on some OTR show.  He guest segments with Bing Crosby and Jack Benny really show his coolness and how comfortable he was in any role.  To me his music is soothing and relaxing and great to unwind with before going to bed.
