Andre Dawson - 1987 National League MVP


Andre Dawson
(Chicago Cubs)
Led the National in Home Runs with 49 and RBI 137
He was the first player in MLB history to win the MVP award while playing for a last place team. He won the award after finishing 2nd in the MVP voting in 1985 and 1986 as a member of the Montreal Expos.
